2 new posts (what is wrong with me)

Happy Halloween (a couple weeks ago) This year for Halloween we went to a great party in Sundance with some fabulous friends! Jesse was the world's best "nerd" and I was his "kitty."

Beautiful Bree and I!
Eve & Amanda...where is a cute picture of us together? I'm sad I didn't get one.

On Halloween day we had my family's annual party with yummy soups, rolls, and homemade root beer. I helped walk around the neighborhood with my two nieces and nephew which was a blast. My family rocks!

Finally Jesse's Halloween treat..........or maybe a welcome gift?
The day after Halloween Jesse and I moved to Vancouver Washington. As we were driving the uhaul and pulling my car Jesse's brother called to say someone had backed into his car Halloween night. Awesome! It looks brand new now so all is well.

So........

We can't wait for Christmas and decided to decorate today! The day after Christmas last year Jesse and I went to gate house boutique right when it opened and bought all new ornaments for our tree! Even if they were on sale I still spent way to much but have been so excited for 11 months to decorate my tree. However I am a little disappointed that the picture doesn't do it justice, but I sure do love my tree!

a little of this and a little of that

When it comes to looking at other's blogs I am flawless. When it comes to updating my own blog I just suck. So I realized that the more I put it off the more I dread updating it. From here on out I am going to try to keep things somewhat updated. After all it really isn't that difficult once you do it!:)
Starting with the most recent and going back.....Here we are going to one mouth watering dinner at Morton's. Thanks to Jesse and his "awesomeness" and "hard work" he was in a winning group for an office incentive. It was by far the best one they have had this summer and I enjoyed the benefit!
Yes, my baby is the handsome tall one.
I sure do love that guy!King crab legs......I still dream about them.
We love the Coombs, and we love that we all ordered filet mignon.
Baby shower for Becca! Just another excuse for a girls lunch date!

Before we left Greenville SC, we went with the Coombs to Six Flags over Atlanta!
On our way to the park!!

Jesse teaching Cache a thing or two about amusement parks.
Time to cool off in the water!
Notice how Jesse is searching for his sunglasses that took a ride down the slide too!
Found them!
Farmers tan or not this is one sexy man!

CLASSIC!
Need I say more.
Watch where you are pointing Alex.
Goodbye to Greenville
Here is a couple pictures from the amazing "Falls Park" in downtown.

Moving Up & DownTown

The summer is half way over! That means we have moved from South Carolina to North Carolina. Let's just say our apartments made the hours of packing and cleaning totally worth it. We are the first to live in them and they are beautiful as you can see. Here is the view from the bridge in front of our apartmet. I'm excited to explore Charlotte.
This is home for just a few weeks!:)

a few items to note

I love the show on food network Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives! This was my first triple D experience at the Beacon Drive In. They are known for hamburgers, fries and homemade onion rings. If you order A-plenty that means they pile up your plate with fries and onion rings. So the girls decided to venture out and try it out oursleves. I remember seeing this guy on the show he stands and yells your order out in some southern lanuage that is hard to understand but somehow they get your order right! He is blind and has worked at the drive-in for 52 years!

This is me yelling "Caaallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll it" through the entire restaurant. Why.....I don't know he just made me do it!:)
The BMW tour....AKA A&W tour
So we thought we would take a tour of the BMW factory but I swear I heard A&W. Luckily only hours later and a few days before the tour I figured we would not be sampling an delicious beverages on the BMW tour. That was the only disappointment though. The tour was pretty cool....however I don't know car parts and names so most of the time the girls didn't understand what was happening but it was fun to see the cars built.

LITTLE BOYS IN OVER SIZED BODIES
Jesse loves playing tennis and I'll admit he is pretty dang good at it. He has yet to find someone who can beat him. When I told the boys to get together for a picture before it started raining this is the pose I got!
Pretty dang cute!

Time For An Update

I know I have been quite the blog slacker but I will do my best to be better. So finally here is a much needed update from our very busy week last week. First things first on April 26th Jesse and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary. I can not believe it has already been two years. It's been an amazing two years and i am excited to celebrate many many many many more! Happy anniversary baby!!!
Next on April 30th I turned the big 22! I still remember when my older sisters were 22 and I feel like they should still be 22 and I should be 17! Clearly I am just getting older and if I'm lucky maybe a little wiser! I had a wonderful birthday with many celebrations. The night before we went with Jesse's good friend Austin and his girlfriend to pizza factory where I got a delicous "22" pizza. That morning I had "22" dollar bills taped to our bedroom wall thanks to my cute hubby. That night I picked my favorite place to eat cafe rio (I could probably eat it every day) and afterwards we went to a private John Schmidt concert at my sister-in-law's parents house. It was amazing and I would highly recommend going on youtube and watching his version of Taylor Swift/Coldplay. Thanks to all my family and friends who called and text me on my birthday amd made it a very special day!

A few days later my family all got together and went to Typanyaki for dinner! It was delicous food and awesome company. After we went to Lindsay's house for some ice cream cake. Here is a picture of the 4 April birthdays that are all within one week. It's pretty crazy!
And I saved the BEST for last......on May 1st Jesse graduated with honors from UVU!!!!!!!!!!!!!:) I am so proud of his hard work and everything he has accomplished. He continues to amaze me. It was a happy day for me knowing that one of us is finally done and he was happy knowing he only has to go back to school if he wants too. I took plenty of pictures of the most handsome graduate and you can tell he was thrilled! Congratulations Jesse!!!

After the ceremony we had a BBQ for the graduate. Since Jesse is the first Ward child to graduate with a bachelors degree he was surprised when his dad brought out a remington box........let's just say his face lit up like a child in a candy store! I am sure many hours will be spent with his new favorite toy.

Spring Break '09

Viva Las Vegas!!!
For spring break Jesse and I decided to get away for a few days to relax and enjoy the warmer weather. It was in the 80's the entire week and we had a fabulous pool! We enjoyed every second of our trip!We ate Way to much everyday! The strip is a CRAZY place at night, but always entertaining.M&M factory!Jesse in front of his favorite part of the strip....construction! Seriously he would just stand there checking everything out that they were building. The Bellagio was full of beautiful flowers and butterflies. It was by far the best smelling building in Vegas.
These chocolate fountains looked so yummy! I loved it.We went on a 5 mile hike that lead to nothing, but at least we got some exercise! My parents were in Vegas the same weekend we were to watch my little brother play in a volleyball tournament. It was really fun having them there. Thanks mom and dad for letting us join you on the "dam tour!" The Hoover Dam has been called one of the greatest engineering projects of all time and now I know why. Jesse loved checking out the bridge they are building and thought it would be cool to work on that project. It freaked me out especially when I could see men up there working. I'm sure glad he isn't working on that project! The Wynn hotel was amazing! To end the trip we saw BLUE MAN GROUP! We absolutely LOVED it. They were so entertaining and funny. Not to mention we bought the most inexpensive tickets and when we walked in the gentleman told us to go see some girls that worked there, so we walked over and they moved us up and gave us AMAZING seats. So we bought the cheap tickets but sat right up in the front. Best show we've ever seen!Kind of creepy! We went and watched Daryn play some volleyball at UNLV while we were there. He was awesome and UVU did extremely well. Way to go buddy! My "baby" brother and I......yes I am 3 years older than him!
